This store is a hidden treasure of Portsmouth. Almost like a museum. You can spend hours and still discover all kinds of mysteriously object. I had a great time with my daughter exploring the store. The price is reasonable. The ‘Chief curator’ (the lady who works there in a unique costume ) was super knowledgeable and helpful. We are very excited to try of our new aromatherapy treats. I am looking forward to taste the Red currant jam for breakfast tomorrow morning. We will be back for sure! I'm on Instagram as andreametier. If you liked my review follow my photos and videos.

This place is seriously awesome. It has a really nice atmosphere and a huge array of awesome stuff that make the perfect gifts—from quality self-care products to old-timey trinkets to Lord of the Rings merch to ready-to-make cookie recipe kits to much more, it has a perfect blend of fantasy and literary and historical vibes and I really recommend making a stop here.

This shop is divine! Fulcanelli at the desk was truly a fine gentleman. He helped me choose Unknown Pleasures from Kerosene. I was thrilled to visit. Stop here if you are indecisive about your scents. Each one was unique and beautifully described by the sharp dressed man.

I went for my 21st birthday and it was absolutely beautiful! And we spent so long in there finding a specialized perfume, but I never felt rushed or pressured by sales associate was truly educated on what he was speaking on.

Pickwick's is truly a gem! Treasures of every type imaginable adorn the shelves, baskets and imaginative displays. From hard to find books to vintage themed toys there are a myriad of gifts to discover. The staff is lovely, helpful and a joy to work with. You may order over the phone and pickup items if you wish in addition to exploring the shop. If you are looking for a magical experience with a lovely atmosphere, you must visit Pickwick's in Portsmouth, NH.

A really unique shopping venue. I could have spent all day here just looking at all the different offerings. There's so many unique gift ideas and treasures to mark your visit to Portsmouth or to send to a friend.

Very cute little shop and even better staff! I live in Chicago and my mom lives close by to this store.. So, I had been eyeing it for a while and it did not disappoint! I have recently gotten into perfumes and saw that they carried Zoologist. Juniper was so lovely and assisted in spraying all the delicious things for me! I ended up with Zoologist - Moth and couldn’t be happier! Definitely will stop back in on my next trip! Thank you so much! ☺️💖

This place is amazing! Upon walking in, there is a very pleasant smell of vetiver and an atmosphere of passion and care. The "old-timey" vibe is so well established and is cemented by the shopkeeps, especially Fulcanelli and Juniper. I walked in, just killing time, and I ended up leaving with some tea and a wonderful candle inspired by Oscar Wilde (who just so happens to be one of my favorite authors)!

I attended a perfume event at Pickwicks and absolutely loved it. This store is amazing even beyond the perfume selection but that is top tier. The staff is patient and super knowledgeable as well. Highly recommend!

If you have not visited Pickwicks, do yourself a favor and just go..asap! This place is amazing, the selection of products, and the wealth of knowledge you will walk out with is astounding. The staff is nice and welcoming. Seriouly..why are you still reading this...Go..
